DIVING and Citizen science

For divers, the Tremiti Islands are a magical place, almost a meeting point for all forms of life that

populate the depths of the Mediterranean and that in certain hours or periods seem to meet here, with the sole purpose of giving emotions to divers.

It's impossible not to emerge full of enthusiasm, and look forward to commenting with your partner,

with the guide, everything seen.

There are so many points worthy of a visit and suitable for any type of experience, over 40 throughout the archipelago.

Dives include:

• use of 15L Din/Int double-ended cylinders
• I use S80 Din cylinders | Sidemount configuration
• use belt and ballast
• Nitrox free for all dives(Ean 27 basic)
• equipment storage
• Shuttle Service
• logistic support on land and on the boat (mineral water for divers on board the boat)
• decompression station where required
• emergency cylinders containing EAN (40) / EAN (50) and/or PURE OXYGEN
• Assembly, transport, loading and unloading of scuba equipment from boats to ensure maximum relaxation and the reduction of any physical effort.
• Maximum attention to the needs of each individual diver, at diving and during dives.

What is citizen science?

It is the active participation of citizens in scientific research. In this case the voluntary participants will contribute to the detection and study of the biodiversity of the Catalan coast and of the Tremiti Islands MPA. The data thus obtained will be used by researchers for better ecosystem conservation and management.
