Ma non è finita qui. Volta la prua a est, si attraversa nell’atollo di Felidhoo.

Qui le famose pass di Myaru Kandu (che il maldiviano significa “squalo”) e Dewana Kandu, offriranno adrenalina da vendere con i gruppi di squali grigi, pinna bianca, tonni e carangidi.

Un luogo unico nel suo genere. E poi relax sui banchi di sabbia bianchissima incastonati nel mare blu.

Prua a nord, si naviga verso Male sud.

Questo atollo pur essendo uno dei primi aperti al turismo, possiede veramente alcuni dei siti d’immersione e di snorkeling più belli di tutto l’arcipelago. Cocoa Kandu e Guraidhoo Kandu possono stupire anche alla centesima immersione con sorprese fuori dal comune. Decine di squali grigi, banchi di numerosi esemplari di aquile, tonni giganti, carangidi, trigoni, tartarughe e… impossibile ricordare tutto.

Dopo le immersioni, lo snorkeling e le spiagge, un breve tour su qualche isola di pescatori dove acquistare un souvenir e immergersi nella cultura locale completano una crociera, già di per sé, fantastica..
