Description

Sito dive site on the southern side of the island of San Domino.

One of the most beautiful dives in the Tremiti Islands.
A shoal rich in benthic life and splendid gorgonians (Paramuricea clavata) and colonies of false black coral (Savalia savaglia).
One in particular, at a depth of 38 meters with a diameter of 12 cm, makes it one of the longest-lived colonies in the Mediterranean (2000-2500 years). 
There is no shortage of yellow gorgonians (Eunicelle cavolini) and gigantic conger eels that roam the shoal.

Lobsters, crayfish and codfish... they almost fade into the background.

The dive requires good experience, the maximum depth recommended in this itinerary is 40m.
